World Autism day is Saturday the 2nd of April. All shops in Clonakilty Co. Cork have committed to go Autism Friendly for the day. Shops will turn off music, announcements and dim lights where possible.  O'Donovans Hotel is hosting an ASD Art Exhibiton.  The Park Cinema Clonakilty will have an autism friendly screening of a film on the day. We will have two Minions walking around Clonakilty giving lollipops to children and helping where possible. Shops will also try go Blue for the day hanging up blue decorations and lights. Although this was all organised by Patricia O'Leary it would not be made possible without the overwhelming response from local shops in Clonakilty. Bus Eireann in Parnell Place will be lighting up blue too for world autism day!
